21482 David De-Coi Wednesday 1st of Sep 2010 12:31PM Victoria Pending confirmation Although I appreciate the merits of the Net Tarrif approach which forces the owner to reduce their electricity consumtion footprint in order to realise the benefit of installing solar panels, moving forward the long term goal should be to increase the number of households capturing solar energy. The Net Tarrif model will slow down the broader uptake of solar panel installation....but perhaps that was the intention all along.
