I can't believe the "Nett" feed in Tariff plus a 2kW limit on the installation capacity - who will qualify? Who wants to? I am looking to build at least a 4kW system. It isn't an incentive - more like disincentive! Bring it in like the German system - one meter for export power and one for import. Who will build the next base load power station? |

West Australia has to the worst culprit. WA has "Feed In Tariffs" disincentives. |

it should have been done long time ago.
re: government subsidize for solar panel. I believe we should encourage competition to provide more solar electricity by removing link of subsidy to only 1 KW. It should change to read up to $7500 for no less than installed solar panel of 1kW (this will change as the price of solar panel) descreases. |

We can't afford to wait any longer to seriously move forward with renewable energy. I'd like to think my grandchildren will be able to inherit a planet worth living on. |

Come on Rudd Government, we put you in to give you a chance to drive Australia forward, as your election promises reflected, but so far, you are not fulfilling your end of the bargain! |

Australia has extensive solar resources and we should be making better use of what we have available. |
